– Miller CAT provides the option for faster shipping but is only a pass through for any charges. We do not make any money off of this service.
– When calculating your possible receive date, please remember that shipping services do not ship on weekends or holidays and that orders received after 1:00pm PST cannot be guaranteed to ship that day.
– Due to COVID and high volume of shipments, carriers are not always able to meet their target shipping times. Please understand we have no control over shipment tracking or times after the product leaves our facilities.
– If you live in California or the West Coast, you may not need that expedited shipping. UPS ground can reach your destination in one to two days.
If you wish to make an international purchase please contact us at info@millercat.com. By default we only ship to a few international destinations. Please be aware that there may be significant fees for you (the buyer) must pay when you receive the product.
Value Added Taxes (VAT) and import duties are some of the fees that your country will impose on your purchase. We do not know what these fees are and they are solely managed and determined by your customs office.
We have a 90 day manufacturers warranty against defects from the manufacturing process. This covers issues that prevent the proper installation or performance of the product.
Cosmetic imperfections that occur either from the manufacturing or shipping process are not covered. We do not manufacture a cosmetic product or ones designed for show. Any undercar product will quickly have scratches and scuffs due to the location of the product and proximity to the road. We do NOT guarantee our product against theft. Cat Shields are a deterrence device that is meant to discourage theft and/or make it more difficult for thieves to steal your converter. Given the right tools, technique or time, a thief can still take your converter. However, by having a shield, you are significantly increasing your protection against theft. Similar to a car or home alarm, you are making thieves second guess themselves and consider moving onto another target. Deterrence works and we have countless customer accounts and video evidence that converter theft stopped (for those with repeated theft) or thieves looked and moved on to other vehicles.

Installation will be easy for a muffler shop but, please advise the DIY person that it is an involved process.

Ordering the Cat Shield from Miller and Labor will set you back about $300. but, a way better alternative of having your catalytic converter stolen.
Yes, you can file a claim with your insurance but, having to go thru the process will be a nightmare.

Although I understand that cat conv robberies have been rampant on the West Coast, I heard of an occurrence here in the DC area. Being curious, I researched cat converter replacement cost for my make and model; and discovered it is $2200, which is costly, and assuming one can get one quickly if needed. My mechanic assured me he could install a shield. With supply-chain problems and crime seeming to increase, I decided that at least installing a cat shield was very cost-effective at this point, should my Prius become a target for that particular reason. This cat shield and its installation kit arrived promptly, and certainly is strong and durable, not flimsy. I have no doubt it will be tamper-proof once installed.

Confirmed my local mechanic officially supports MillerCat installation on MillarCat’s website before ordering. Great job done. No vibration sounds that others have reported. Installation price was half of what Toyota dealership was asking (also official installer on MillerCat’s site).
MILLERCAT 2012-2019 Prius C Cat Shield™
I was looking for CAT Shield to install in my 2019 Ford F-150 XLT Crew Cab. Tried hard to find Millercat dealer, part supplier and no luck from Millercat website. Seems the Cat Shield is for Pirus, Toyota and ….but not Ford F-150. I really wanted to use your product but no luck. Maybe you could direct me to a dealer/parts supplier for Millercat Cat Shield. My state is VA
Install was straight forward and relatively easy if you have the tools for it. I was able to install it in my driver way using a Jack and two jack stands to lift the car.
Great product. We shall see if the Cat Convertor never gets stolen. Ask me in 5 years. I will let you know if something happens!
